Le Città Invisibili

Explore Calvino's famous novel through this Virtual Reality experience for PC. In "Le Città Invisibili" you will explore one of the fifty-one cities described in the homonymous book: playing as Emperor Kublai Kan you will explore Maurilia and help its citizens to preserve the city's traditions.

Collect all the postcards in the city and get lost in Maurilia's beauty, while you also learn about Calvino's book and listen to what he wrote about this place.

The team

The project was created by Ilaria Arduino, Lara Benedetto, Arianna Lorenzini for the "Virtual Reality" course at Politecnico di Torino (A.Y. 2024-2025).

• All the sound effects and the music in the game were downloaded from Freesound
